Our Story
Concrete Ventures Group, Inc. was founded by Mr. Charlie Aniceto V. Gorayeb. The growth and success of Concrete Ventures Group, Inc. is a direct result of the innovativeness and tenacity of our founder who brought the highest level of expertise, leadership and the appropriate resources to meet the demand of the discriminating construction market.
Having been in the construction business for the past two decades, Mr. Gorayeb saw the vast potentials in the Philippines for a better pre-cast concrete joist system as a method for supporting roof and flooring systems. On May 24, 1990, in the midst of the building boom being experienced by the country, his idea became a reality with the incorporation of Concrete Ventures Group, Inc.
In anticipation of a progressive and prosperous concrete joist business, Mr. Gorayeb earmarked a large tract of land in San Pioquinto, Malvar, Batangas for its C-Joistmanufacturing plant. In October 1992, the commercial operations of Concrete Ventures Group, Inc. began with a very lean manpower complement. In less than ten years, the Company has already been operating at peak production. To date, it is the leading commercial concrete joist casting plant that operates in the Philippines.
The main plant of Concrete Ventures Group, Inc. in San Pioquinto, Malvar, Batangas is a state-of-the-art forming plant utilizing high-precision German-technology.
Charlie V. Gorayeb
Founder/Chairman
Heading the corporate management team is Mr. Charlie V. Gorayeb, a B.S. Commerce (1968) graduate of Jose Rizal College and holds a master of Business Administration (1976) degree from the University of Sto Tomas.
Mr. Gorayeb, is an accomplished executive and businessman, a self-made man who started being self-supporting at a very young age and had to work his way through school by taking in various menial jobs. Patience, hard work, wholehearted dedication to his chosen career, and sheer determination to succeed were the very core of his success. Because of his humble beginnings, Mr. Gorayeb is a well-rounded and hands-on executive who understands the minute details and nitty-gritty of the concrete joists business, and more importantly, the aspirations and predicaments of even lowly laborers thereby ensuring them of basic labor amenities prescribed by law and productivity incentive compensations. His work experience gives him the best qualification to manage a company whose main ingredient to success is the hard work, loyalty and commitment of its officers and employees.
Currently, Mr. Gorayeb is the principal proponent of the following diversified interests:
Goram Development Corporation: A construction and development corporation(Chairman of the Board/C.E.O.)
Dolores Industrial Park Corporation: A special ecozone owner/developer in Malvar, Batangas (Chairman of the Board)
Alta-Agri Corporation: A business concern engaged in agricultural production (Chairman of the Board/President)
Red Sea Construction & Realty Corporation: A business firm engaged in mining and quarrying of aggregates (Chairman of the Board/President)
Republic of Djibouti (Honorary Consul General)
For more than two decades, Mr. Gorayeb has regularly represented the Philippines in various national and international conventions, symposia, for a, conferences and seminars dealing with housing problems and solutions, regional development, urban and rural development, human settlements programs and projects, as speaker, presentor, chairman, moderator or resource person. He is active in professional and civic organizations such as:
